Hope for Homes Day returns on July 16, 2026.

Hope for Homes Day returns on July 16, 2026.

This statewide giving movement brings together Illinois nonprofits working to prevent and end homelessness and raises critical funds to support individuals and families experiencing housing instability.

Last year, 35 nonprofit organizations united to raise more than $220,000 from over 900 donors. In 2026, Hope for Homes Day is building even greater momentum, with a goal of bringing together 50 nonprofit organizations and generating even more support to expand housing stability efforts across Illinois.

In recognition of its growing impact, Hope for Homes Day has received official proclamations from Governor Pritzker, Mayor Johnson, and Cook County President Preckwinkle.

On July 16, people across Illinois will unite to strengthen the organizations leading the fight against homelessness. Join the movement and stand with the organizations working every day to ensure everyone has a place to call home.
